xsl template match link
David,

What I meant was

<xsl:for-each select="*//llnode"> will search under one level up
ancestor which will give the same results as match link//llnode since
link is one level up.

Obviously link//llnode is limited while just matchin link will give the
possibility to write more statements for any child underneath.

Thanks & Regards,

/s

They do?

<xsl:template match="link//llnode" mode="yyy">
<xsl:for-each select="*">
so this is iterating over all elements (of any name) that have a parent
llnode and an ancestor link

<xsl:template match="link" mode="yyy">
<xsl:for-each select="*//llnode">
this is iterating over all elements with name llnode that are
descendents, but not children, of a link element.

It is no doubt possible to find a document where these select the same
sets of nodes, but in general they will be very different.

David
