embedded php in xslt

Hello,

I want to use PHP code in my xslt. If I declare in my XSLT the php code like:

<![CDATA[ <?php ...........

I get following output:

<?php

but I´d need

<?php ......

So any hints that I get an < instead of an < in my output-file?
