Re: What's the fastest XSL-FO renderer out there...

We have compared the following four XSL-FO processors.

Generally speaking,

The fastest processor is Antenna House XSL Formatter Version 3
Second is XEP version 3
The third is Antenne House XSL Formatter Version 2.5
The slowest among these four is FOP. The performance of FOP is
not good.

There are some other XSL-FO processors, but I can not say about them.

Please take care the performance depends on the structure of
XSL-FO. For example, auto layout of table takes much time.

I intend to use XSL-FO to generate potentially tens of  thousands of pages
in PDF format.  Not necessarily all in one go, probably a couple of hundred
at a time.  I am testing all my scripts using FOP which I have noted is
rather slow.

Anybody have any idea what other renders are out there which can churn out
pages any quicker than FOP?  Any recommendations?
