xsl umlaut
Hi,

I have a weird problem that maybe someone can help me to understand.
Within the same .fo document (encoding UTF-8) an umlaut is in some places
correct, in other places wrong. The only difference between the two occurences
is that the correct instance is defined as a xsl:variable, the wrong instance is
read from an xml file. Any ideas where this could come from.

I use apache-fop to produce some pdf files. But there are two different workflows.
Firstly, I produce one pdf file containing multiple pages in one go with fop.
This works flawlessly. All umlauts are correct.

Secondly, I produce a .fo file for every page with saxon (7.6.5) and then convert
each of these files to one .pdf file. The umlaut-problem already happend in the first
step.

I am looking for any pointers.

Thanks

Erwin
