still relevant).

XQuery and XSLT were designed for different application areas, but there
is a huge overlap in functionality, and the chances are that many people
will try to use one tool for both jobs. But XQuery implementations are
likely to be much better at searching large databases, and XSLT will
continue to be much better for generating HTML or other presentation
forms.

There are lists - see the XQuery home page - but they are not nearly as
nice as this one.
