Hi

Can you plz tell me if it is possible to apply a transformation on only a
part of the DOM tree...for eg I have a document to which I have given a tree
structure or the DOM...now I want to apply a stylesheet on this but the
result tree is not to be generated from scratch...i just want the changes to
happen in the source tree, the entire tree is not to be regenerated...

As such XSLT generates a new document...so it does not solve my problem...I
am looking for a sample project in Xalan that can do such a thing....can
anyone plz suggest some xalan utility that does this

thnx
