excuse me, but it is not function with more rows.

in need for each table:

    <row num="1">
      <col/>
      <col/>
      <col/>
      <col/>
    </row>

    <row num="2">
      <col/>
      <col/>
      <col/>
      <col/>
    </row>
etc..
TABLE FIRST
ROW 1
col0
col1
col2
ROW 2
col3
col4
col5
etc...

TABLE SECOND
ROW 1
col0
col1
col2
ROW 2
col3
col4
col5
etc...

You want "count(preceding-sibling::col)"
