scope of templates
I found it easiest to understand as a scoping method. I.e., as a way to define the scope of elements, and to define the scope of templates and matching.

Also I found Jclarke's explanation to be unelightening. I got the explanation (after lots of confusion) from the XSLT faq :-)

Hi all,

I've not been using xsl and xml for that long, but I can do pretty much what
I need with what I already know. But I have never really understood what a
name-space is really refering too.

Could someone give me a small explination (preferably in basic englis ;-)

Cheers

Simon
