Problem with Substring in XSL

Hello ,
I have a string str1 in a XML file. I want to split it
into 2 strings str1 and str2. str1 should be the
substring before last blank character, and str2 should
be rest of the string after blank.

for e.g. str is -- abcdef 12345 pqrst 3423
str1 should be -- abcdef 12345 pqrst, &
str2 should be -- 3423

How can I do this?
