I thought ".mod" in DTDs stands for DTD "module".No, it's just the last four characters in the filename. What does it stand for? The term "module" is not used in the XML specifications. Oh sure, I didn't mean to imply that. What do you do when you are transforming documents referencing large DTDs, eg DocBook? Do you change the URI in the doctype declaration to a local path, do you use catalog tools, or ...? I really would be happy to get some recommendations on how to best deal with transforming documents referencing large online DTDs.
