How well do the current crop of XSLT processors (I'm thinking of Saxon6, Saxon7, Xalan, and xsltproc)
support the lang attribute in xsl:sort?

Do they all handle language collation sequences?

Are there limitations on which languages are supported?

Limitations on language and country combinations?

Differences per computing platform?

If you recall there was a similiar discussion on Docbook-apps around
September 25 2002 ( give take +/- couple of days) with the topic
"Sorting and non-en_US indexes" with helps of David Cramer I was able to
sort the Index file using Saxon

Maybe it could be of help
