Convert XML to Image with Dynamic Data

Hello everyone ..
    
      I have been doing regular HTML reports converting the XML  using XSL on client side .From the same source XML i need 
      to generate an image ( like jpg or gif ) and this image should have the same look as existing html reports , similar dynamic data
      but its an image. I dont know if SVG can be used for this kind of scenario  . 
      Any advise on  how it can be achieved and how complicated it can be?? .
