Re: problem with xsl:if

<xsl:if test="../codenet[position()] = ../codenet[position()+1]">

position() relates to the position in the current node list it has
nothing to do with teh position of teh node in the source. If you use
[] with a numeric value it is equivalent to [position()=value]
so
[position()]  is short for [position()=position()] and is always true
[position()+1] is short for [position()=position()+1] and is always false

You want 

If yo are on an agent node, you want

<xsl:if test="codenet = following-sibling::agent/codenet">

Note no use of position() at all.
