<fo:external-graphic and cocoon framework

Hi,

I'm having problems with implementing images with <fo:external-graphic  in
the cocoon framework.
If I give a relative path as the source, like: ".. src=images/water.gif" no
image is implemented.
But if  I give an absolute path as the source, like: ".. src=file:///C:
\images/water.gif" the image is implemented.
My sitemap in this folder is correct.

Is this a cocoon problem, my error, or what? Is there a solution for an
relative path for cocoon?
