It looks like you're attempting to use XSLT elements (e.g. <xsl:sort>)
in a stylesheet that's using the WD-xsl namespace
(http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl). If you want to use XSLT 1.0, you should
use the XSLT namespace:

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
                xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
...
</xsl:stylesheet>

Have a look at the MSXML FAQ at
http://www.netcrucible.com/xslt/msxml-faq.htm to find out about the
difference between the two languages.
