Kevin, Could you please explain more about it? my XSLT processor is Xalan that used by LiveLink System (Document Management System). I tried to use XSLT-Java Extention and it doesn't work (maybe it don't have XSLT-java installed). If there is a way that I can just use HTML or JavaScrpit to assign the value to XSLT varaible, it'll be great. Thanks a lot, Yan > ---------- > From: Kevin Collins[SMTP:kcollins@xxxxxxx] > Reply To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Friday, October 04, 2002 12:21 PM > To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: How to get value from JavaScript > > Yan, > > If this is in response to a live request (ie. you're not pre-processing > static html files) then whatever script kicks off the transformation can > parse the request headers to get the url and pass it to the xsl as a > parameter. > > Kevin > > > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
