sort problem

Hello Everyone,
	I am using the following xsl to sort an xml document based on the
node names & also, the attribute names...
The sort is working fine but the problem is that all text is missing from
the resulting document.
Where am I making a mistake???

	<xsl:output method="xml" omit-xml-declaration ="yes"
encoding="UTF-8" indent="no"/>

			<xsl:copy>
				<xsl:apply-templates select="@* | * ">
					<xsl:sort select="name()"
data-type="text"/>
			</xsl:apply-templates>
			</xsl:copy>
</xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
