when you select view source it shows the source.
ie the input to the stylesheet not the output.

The browser renders the output, which is HTML.

If you want to get a menu option to see the xslt output install the xml
tools available from MS's download site, this gives a couple of new
options on right menu. "validate XML", and "show xslt output".
