If you are dealing with more than a single national language your capitalization function will need to be locale aware. Probably the easiest way to do it would be with a simple Java extension. Otherwise you'd have to do potentially complex tokenization using XSLT code, which is non trivial in XSLT 1.0. Cheers, E. -- W.
