Returning value from xsl file.

Hi all,
How to return a value from xsl file?

    I have an xml file and an xsl file.
    I pass a parameter from the servlet to xsl file.
    I do some processing in the xsl file and I want return a value from xsl
to servlet.
    How to do this?
