</xsl:apply-templates>

Hi Matt,

instead of the above write

<xsl:apply-templates select="ROW">
    <xsl:sort select="COLUMN[@name = $sort-col]"/>
</xsl:apply-templates>

where $sort-col stores the col-name to sort by.
