I have some specific question regarding SGML to xml conversion

1.Can you think of any risks to your components in this migration?

2.Can you think of any capabilities that XML provides to significantly
simplify your components?

3.Processing instructions are already present in the data, so I presume that
this would not introduce new complexities for the components? Any search
implications surrounding pi's?
