yes two methods.

firstly namespace nodes only get in the result if you copy them there,
so if you don't want them don't copy them.

If you have copied them but don't really use them in the output then you
can, as it says in the spec,  use the  exclude-result-prefixes
attribute to cause the system not to add declatarions that correspond to
namespace nodes that are not used for element or attribute names in the
result.
