Of course you will have to use substring() to only use the first letter of
the name attribute in the comparison
i.e.
<xsl:for-each select="substring(@name,1,1) =
upper-case(substring(@name,1,1))">
and
<xsl:for-each select="substring(@name,1,1) =
lower-case(substring(@name,1,1))">
