Problems with formatting

If you think that the text is coming from your stylesheet then wrap
any text in your stylesheet that's meant to be in the output in a
XSLT text element.  This way your output will only contain whitespace
that was within the text element rather that whitespace from the
indenting of your stylesheet that just happened to be next to some
literal result text.
