IF statement with AND expression

I realize that this may be a stupid question, but here goes... I am a new user to XSL/XML, and I am attempting to create an IF statement with a couple of AND expressions in it, since I do not wish to use nested IF statements. However, I keep getting an error when I try to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
