I believe the problem is the way you have setup your params. First if it works that way, you are assigning a value to the parameter (I think???). If you simply do this you should get what you want: <xsl:param name="currentPos"/> <xsl:param name="userID"/> best, -Rob > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Nathalie Pult > Sent: Thursday, October 18, 2001 3:48 AM > To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Passing params between java-code and stylesheet > > > Hello, > > I would like to pass different params from my javacode to the stylesheet, > but > I cannot refer to them in the stylesheet. > That's my code: > transformer.setParameter("currentPos", String s_currentPos); > transformer.setParameter("userID", String s_userID); > > and in the stylesheet the toplevel-params > ... > <xsl:param name="currentPos">1</xsl:param> > <xsl:param name="userID">1</xsl:param> > ... > further down > <xsl:template match="interaction"> > [snip] > <form ...> > input type="hidden" name="userID" value="{$userID}"/> > input > type="hidden" name="currentPos" value="{$currentPos}"/> > </form> > </xsl:template> > > Thanks for helping! > > Nathalie > > > > > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
