RE: Passing params between java-code and stylesheet

I believe the problem is the way you have setup your params. First if it
works that way, you are assigning a value to the parameter (I think???).  If
you simply do this you should get what you want:

<xsl:param name="currentPos"/>
<xsl:param name="userID"/>
