RE: apply-templates and excluding a node
If I've got this right, the correct syntax is:

	<xsl:apply-templates select="*[name() != 'PRFID']" />

Subject: apply-templates and excluding a node

Hi All

here is a part of xml document
<searchresults>
		<PRFID>21</PRFID>
		<FIRSTNAME>Ana</FIRSTNAME>
		<LASTNAME>Ngera</LASTNAME>
		<OFFICEPHONENUMBER>020 8452 4535</OFFICEPHONENUMBER>
		<PHONEEXTENSION>4503</PHONEEXTENSION>
	</searchresults>

searchresults is the recursive element

I want to use

<xsl:template match="searchresults">
	<xsl:apply-templates />
</xsl:apply-templates>

Naturally this selects all the child elements of searchresult. I want to
exclude the first child node <PRFID>. What would be the syntax in
<xsl:apply-templates select="????" />

like select everything but not the <PRFID>.

thanks

Meltem
