As you said, the CDATA determines a section
who is text and the output should be escaped.
<textBody>
<!CDATA[ The text ]]>
</textBody>
In the stylesheet i matched the text like this
<xsl:value-of select='textBody/text()'/>
If I try the select only with textBody it doesn't
work.

You can't, the XPath data model regards CDATA as merely an input shortcut,
not as an information-bearing part of the XML content. In other words,
"<![CDATA[x]]>" and "x" look exactly the same to the XSLT processor.
