I don't see a SAX 2.0 driver. Thank you for the clarification ... as I said, I'm used to running these things off the shelf. Running java -cp saxon.jar;xp.jar com.icl.saxon.StyleSheet -x com.jclark.xml.sax.Driver -t test.xml test.xsl And now it also works for me with Saxon 6.4.3 ... thanks, Michael, for all your help. I have to switch my document production calls to Saxon (any chance the exslt extension for multiple file output will find its way into Saxon? then again, I'm not sure anyone else is using it either) before trying my production environment, but my initial tests seem to work just fine. I appreciate your help, as always. ......................... Ken
