RE:  copying only elements
John asks:
> How can I copy just the elements of a node (no attributes and no values).

John,

The following stylesheet should do the trick:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
                xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

  <xsl:output indent="yes"/>

  <xsl:template match="/">
      <xsl:apply-templates select="*"/>
  </xsl:template>

  <xsl:template match="*">
    <xsl:copy>
      <xsl:apply-templates select="*"/>
    </xsl:copy>
  </xsl:template>

</xsl:stylesheet>

Hope this helps.

Bob
