[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] variable match attribute
Hello,
sorry for possible reposting but the archive server seems to be down....
I want to to something like that:
.
.
<xsl:variable name="start" select="document('start.xml')/START"/>
<xsl:variable name="pattern">
<xsl:for-each select="$start/*">
<xsl:value-of select="name()"/>
<xsl:if test="not(position()=last())">
<xsl:text>|</xsl:text>
</xsl:if>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:variable>
.
.
<xsl:template match="$pattern">
<!-- do something -->
</xsl:template>
I know, the match attribute is a pattern, where I can't use variables
but how can I solve the problem:
'read element names from a document B and use them as template pattern
in document a'
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Michael Schäfer
