The xsl:copy-of does not work and finally i worked out my own problem i used <xsl:value-of select="Text" disable-output-escaping = "yes" /> and i get a perfect html output with all the paragraph tags in tact From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: xml to html paragraphing Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2001 19:04:22 +0100 in your xsl file just write something like: <xsl:template match="p"> <xsl:copy><xsl:value-of select="."></xsl:copy> </xsl:template> all content include <p> should be copied to your html final. NO!!!! xsl:value-of produces the string value so will through away any element children of th ep. You just want <xsl:copy-of select="."/> as has been said by several people already. Also you need to fix the source so there _is_ a p element to match on not just th etext <p>.
