You can also use literal result elements (just write the element that
you want) and attribute value templates (just write the attribute
value that you want, with {}s around bits you want calculated) for a
shorter (and I think more readable) solution:
<a href="mailto:{email}"><xsl:value-of select="email" /></a>
<br />
<a href="http://{url}"><xsl:value-of select="url" /></a>
<br />
