interpreting the DTD

Hi!
With this XML - Doc:
...
<ROOT>
<NODE ATTR="blue"/>
<NODE ATTR="red"/>
...
</ROOT>

and this DTD:
...
<!ELEMENT NODE>
<!ATTLIST NODE
ATTR ('blue'| 'red'| 'green' ) #REQUIRED
>

I want to generate a HTML - Form like this:
...
<!-- Generating an option list depending on current DTD -->
<SELECT ...>
<INPUT TYPE="option" VALUE="red" ...>
<INPUT TYPE="option" VALUE="blue" ...>
<INPUT TYPE="option" VALUE="green" ...>
</SELECT>
...

It was impossible for me to access the contents of the referenced DTD
in a XML - Doc with MSXML 1.0
