include text file

  How to include a text file content (without XML header
and any tag) with XSLT processor (I use Xalan Java 1).

When I use :
<xsl:template match="grph">
  <xsl:copy-of select="document(@src)"/>
</xsl:template>

on xml source file :
<grph src="file:..."/>

I get error message :
XSLProcessor Warning: Can not load requested doc: file:...

  Is this an error of 
     1/ xslt syntax ?
     2/ Xalan ?
     3/ misunderstanding ?

How to solve this problem ?
