I'm currently trying to produce a &micro; reference in the HTML output from
Xalan XSLT processor.
I've tried &#180; and &#181; within the XSLT stylesheet and
Xalan always produces &mu; in the output, which is fine for MS Explorer but
does not work for Netscape Navigator.

Does anybody know a solution or a workaround to this problem?
