wml output using xalan c++

Does anyone have any experience outputting wml using the c++ version of Xalan? I'm currently using transformiix, which isn't bad, but, can't do disable-output-escaping nor doctype tag creation. The XSL processor is embedded into a perl module, so, I can do post-processing, but, I was wondering if anyone has done something similar with Xalan/C++.
