You don't have to install Saxon if you don't want to ;)  As I said, this
looked to work under MSXML3 (July), so if you go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/webtechnology/xml/msxml.asp and
download the July release, you should be OK.  Otherwise, yes, a more
compliant processor such as Saxon or Xalan would be a good idea.
