RE: outputting a xml file with accentued characters to html
> My question is : what must I do to have the é character in a > correct way : é ? It has been output in one correct way (UTF-8), you are asking for it to be output in a different correct way. You can try specifying <xsl:output encoding="iso-8859-1"/> if you want the HTML to be readable using editors that can't cope with UTF-8, but that's no guarantee that you'll get "é" (though you will with Saxon).
