Use xsl:output method="html" and this template:

<xsl:template match="groupinfo">
  <input type="text" name="name" value="{normalize-space(name)}"/>
  <select name="id">
    <xsl:for-each select="ids/id">
      <option value="normalize-space()">
        <xsl:value-of select="normalize-space()"/>
      </option>
    </xsl:for-each>
  </select>
</xsl:template>
