xsl text inside xsl choose
call me silly, but why? (Thanks for the information)

If it works the other way, why bother with the
xsl:text? (I realize I am now an open target for
those people who think its proper syntax.)

Ok fire away!

I meant put that where you had ( but given your followup coment this
may not be the problem that you had. (It's a good idea though in anycase
to always put characters that you want in the output inside xsl:text not
just directly inside xsl:template
