I have put a copy of the untransformed documents (both with 100 and 300 elements (approx)) in http://www.mip.sdu.dk/~ravn/100-300.zip I have since tried with the Internet Explorer which times out after about 6 minutes. > To get a better benchmark, I have some other questions for you: > a) (for 100 elements) is it taking 5 seconds on the second time and third > time you request the document? I believe that the running time consistently is a few seconds even after being requested more than once. Please note that this is perfectly fine - this machine is rather slow, and this is not for production use. I just have a feeling that the way I do it is not the right way.
