Without testing your eg, the above line tells me there's something very
wierd with the HTML that the browser is receiving. Possibly something
subtle with an erroneous DOCTYPE, (improper tag nesting in Netscape?)
possibly something with the MIME the server is sending (IE believes
suffix over Server response).
If a view-source exists, and the browser doesn't show it, it's no longer
a /processing/ problem, but a transmission or rendering one.

Try a 'save as', name it ***.html and open that file using the browser.
Use that result to troubleshoot either the HTML itself of your server
headers.
