Or rather, "yes". The second argument changes the base URL which
you can't do with the one argument form. But the nodeset in first
argument form is equivalent to lots of calls to the basic uri-string
form connected together with |.

So it's a shorthand, so what? So is xsl:for-each, or xsl:if, literal
result elements, AVTs and probably several other constructs.

I give up, I shall try to refrain from continuing this thread:-)
