Hiyall. <xsl:number count="*"/> I've used the above line within XSL and processed it first with IE5 (inc. the March 2000 preview parser) and then with Saxon. In the former case, the following line is produced in IE5 "Unspecified error Line 130, Position 13". In the latter case, transforming with Saxon from XML to an Excell spreadsheet, the expected result is obtained. I had expected that IE5's March 2000 preview parser provided confomity with WWW3.
