Congratulations on finding > the first bug. thanks, that clears things up nicely. your suggestion of using <xsl:fallback> deals with the portable stylesheet question nicely. it makes me feel much better being able to alternate XSLT processors. any chance of an updated Saxon, or do you want to wait for more bug reports?
