Yes, you can insert text using the <xsl:text> element.
So something like this should work:

<xsl:value-of select="/housenumber"/><xsl:text> </xsl:text><xsl:value-of
select="/streetname"/><xsl:text> </xsl:text><xsl:value-of
select="/streetsuffix"/>...
