Can XMLHttpRequest object be run from server using ASP ?
i.e.
Dim xmlhttp 
Set xmlhttp = Server.CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")
xmlhttp.Open "POST", "http://myserver/myfile.xml", false
