I've updated the online version of Chapter 14, XSL Transformations, of the XML
Bible to be in sync with the new XSLT and XPath Proposed Recommendations. You can find it at http://metalab.unc.edu/xml/books/bible/updates/14.html The changes were overall quite minor, though almost all the examples had to change to account for the new namespace. The one thing I'm still not sure about is whether or not XT is supposed to be inserting DOCTYPE declarations in HTML output files when there's no xsl:output element. It certainly seems to be doing that, though my reading of the spec says it shouldn't. +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | Elliotte Rusty Harold | elharo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | Writer/Programmer | +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | The XML Bible (IDG Books, 1999) | | http://metalab.unc.edu/xml/books/bible/ | | http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0764532367/cafeaulaitA/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Read Cafe au Lait for Java News: http://metalab.unc.edu/javafaq/ | | Read Cafe con Leche for XML News: http://metalab.unc.edu/xml/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
